Instructions for Filling Out the CA Application Form 2026
Candidates must first generate their login credentials by completing a one-time registration on the official ICAI website before they can start the application process. Following a successful registration process, the candidate will receive an SMS on the mobile number they submitted, along with their login and password, at their registered email address.
Candidates can access the ICAI CA test application form by logging in to the portal after receiving their login credentials. Since incomplete or inaccurate forms may be rejected, it is imperative that all relevant fields be filled out accurately.
Visa, MasterCard, or Maestro debit/credit cards can be used to pay the exam fee online. Candidates should download and print the completed application form after making the payment. Candidates must include two current passport-size photos, one certified and one non-attested, if the photo is not on the printout.
Candidates must sign in the designated spot and have a parent or guardian countersign the form if the signature is absent from the printed version. A chartered accountant, a gazetted officer, or the principal of the applicant's school or college must also attest the application.
Before submitting the exam form, candidates can also update their signature and photo using the Student Services Portal (SSP). One day following the deadline for submission, the correction window will open, permitting a small number of changes.
Before applying, candidates whose articleship status is still pending because of missing paperwork must make sure that the SSP has an updated status. Similar to this, CA Intermediate students who are having trouble registering should open a support request on the SSP site as soon as possible to prevent delays when submitting their exam forms.
