Company law, limited liability partnership law, and other laws are all covered in the CA Inter Corporate and Other Laws 2026–2027 syllabus. The syllabus is broken up into three chapters under Other Laws and three modules under Company Law and LLP Law. Starting with the May 2027 exam, the revised scheme study materials are applicable.
You can arrange your studies and give each section ample time if you are aware of the CA Inter Law exam pattern and curriculum layout. The paper is worth 100 points and consists of both descriptive and case scenario-based multiple-choice questions.
There are two main sections to the CA Inter Corporate and Other Laws course. Company law and limited liability partnership law are covered in Part I, and other laws are covered in Part II.
This part is divided into three modules.
The Other Laws section consists of three chapters:
There are both objective and descriptive questions in the 30:70 format of the CA Inter Law test. The three-hour exam is worth 100 points. This format is also used in ICAI mock test papers for Paper 2.
The syllabus should first be divided into three sections: Company Law, LLP Law, and Other Laws. To keep track of which topics have been finished and which still require revision, go over the chapters module-by-module.
Instead of memorizing the provisions of company law and LLP law without context, concentrate on comprehending them. In order to aid with case scenario-based multiple-choice questions, try to comprehend how a provision pertains to a specific situation.
While reviewing key clauses, definitions, and ideas, take brief notes. In order to utilize them during revision rather than going over the entire study material again, keep them brief.
Case scenario-based multiple-choice questions (MCQs) are worth thirty marks, therefore practice MCQs frequently as part of your preparation. Prior to choosing a response, concentrate on comprehending the information provided in each scenario.
Practice writing responses in a clear and organized way because the descriptive section is worth 70 points. Explain the applicability of the pertinent clause or idea in light of the question.
Give FEMA, the General Clauses Act, and the Interpretation of Statutes regular revision time. You can improve your retention of key ideas and provisions by having brief but regular revision sessions.
CA Inter Corporate and Other Laws blends application-based problems with conceptual knowledge. The General Clauses Act, Interpretation of Statutes, and FEMA are covered under Other Laws, while Company Law and LLP Law make up a significant amount of the curriculum.
While you must properly explain the pertinent concepts in the 70-mark descriptive section, the 30-mark multiple-choice question section emphasizes the importance of applying laws. You can familiarize yourself with the exam's structure by practicing both sorts of questions on a regular basis.
