CA Intermediate Exam 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The following are the requirements to be eligible to take the CA Intermediate 2026 exam:

• Candidates must have finished the required amount of study time prior to the test and passed the CA Foundation exam administered by ICAI.
• Graduates and postgraduates in any field can use the Direct Entry Route to register for the test directly:
• Commerce graduates/postgraduates with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks
• Graduates or postgraduates with at least 60% of the possible points in other fields
• Candidates may also register if they have passed the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) Intermediate level exam.
• At least nine months prior to the exam month, registration for the CA Intermediate course must be finished.
• The five-year CA Intermediate registration period can be extended for a charge.
• Before taking the test, candidates must also finish the necessary articleship training and other requirements in accordance with ICAI regulations.

CA Intermediate Exam 2026 Application Process

The following is the application procedure for the CA Intermediate 2026 exam:

• Go to https://eservices.icai.org/ to access the ICAI SSP website.
• Use your registration ID and password to log in, or register as a new user.
• Fill up the exam and personal information forms, upload your photo and signature, and attach any other necessary files.
• Pay the application cost online. For one group, the application fee is Rs 1500; for two groups, it is Rs 2700. There is a 600 rupee late fee.
• Once payment has been received, download the completed application form in PDF format and save it for your records.
• If the signature or photo does not appear on the downloadable form, print it, attach a recent, color passport-sized photo, sign it by hand, and have a gazetted officer or chartered accountant confirm it if needed.
• Before the deadline, submit the form. Following the form's final submission, no modifications to the data will be permitted.

About 15 days prior to the test, the CA Intermediate 2026 admit card will be made available. By entering their User ID (SSP login ID) and password on the official ICAI portal at eservices.icai.org, candidates can obtain the admission card online.

Important information including the candidate's name, roll number, exam location, dates, and times are all included on the admit card. A government-issued ID and the printed admit card must be brought to the testing location.
