CA Intermediate Course Fees – September 2026

The second and more difficult level of the CA Course is called the CA Intermediate. Advanced Accounting, Auditing, Taxation, Corporate Law, Cost Accounting, and FM & SM are the three disciplines covered by each of CA Inter's two groups.

There are two ways for students to register for CA Intermediate: the Direct Entry Route (for graduates or postgraduates with at least 55% in commerce or 60% in other streams) or the Foundation Route (after passing CA Foundation).

For one group, the registration fee for CA Intermediate is Rs. 13000, and for two groups, it is Rs. 18,000. Payments must be made online at the time of registering. Direct entry students are not allowed to choose only one group and must register for both at the same time.

The option to register for one or both groups is available to students who registered via the foundation path.

ICITSS – Mandatory Pre-Articleship Training

Before beginning articleship training, which consists of two 15-day components, all CA Intermediate students must finish ICITSS (Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills).

The final and most crucial stage of the Chartered Accountancy curriculum is the CA Final. There are six subjects in two groups as well. Students must have passed both the CA Inter group and the two years of required instruction in order to register for the CA Final.

Articleship Training & AICITSS Fees

Every CA student is required to complete two years of articleship training under a practicing chartered accountant. Students can apply for articleship after completing two years of service; the cost is Rs. 2,000.

Additionally, in order to register for the ICAI-conducted Practical Training Assessment Test, which assesses the practical knowledge acquired during an articleship, students must pay Rs. 500.

AICITSS – Advanced Training (Mandatory for CA Final)

Before taking the CA Final test, students must finish the Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills, or AICITSS:

Late Fee for September 2026 Exam Form

For applicants from Indian and Kathmandu centers who submit their exam forms beyond the customary deadline, ICAI charges a late fee of Rs. 600. There is a $10 late fee for students from international centers. Since no applications are allowed after the extended late-fee window ends, students must make plans well in advance.
